Finishing:

Place piece #1 (back face up), pin piece #4 on the first petal (back face down) and pin piece #3 on the second petal on the left (back face down), and finally pin piece #2 (back face down) on the remaining 3 petals.

Make a Knot and insert it in both sides of work, ch 1 and work 2 dcs in each dc (perpendicular side).

When you reach the 2 chs that separate each petal from the other, make 1 dc around this 2ch space joining the top and bottom pieces together.

When working on the top angle of each petal, make 7 dcs ( 2dcs at each side and 3 at the top).

Sew in, 3 buttons at the bottom edge of piece #3.

  1. I am making this pattern your measurements are those for the Pentagon or from star point to star point? Making 0-3 months and just trying to figure out how big the Pentagon needs to be thank you

      1. Ok next question piece 4. Row 7. dec 2, 1 dc 18 times, dec 2 (20 stitches instead of 24)..after the Dec 2..i only have 16 stitches available before the last Dec 2. Should that grow be Dec 1 instead?
